Fox Sports was set to broadcast the game today between the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Giants today at the Metrodome, and hence had their cameras set up from the inside. Well, they got video of the roof collapsing, and. . .well, I don't have the words to do it justice, so here you go.
The game has been moved to Ford Field in Detroit, with kickoff scheduled for 6:20 PM Central time on Monday night.
There had been talk of potentially moving the game to TCF Bank Stadium on the campus of the University of Minnesota, but U of M officials had said that the stadium had been shut down and that it might take a few days to get the stadium prepared to host a football game.
Just between you and me. . .they might want to get started on that.
