In addition to sending the No. 16 pick to Portland, the Timberwolves are also sending forward Ryan Gomes to the Trailblazers, according to ESPN’s Ric Bucher on the draft show. In return, Minnesota acquires 23-year-old Martell Webster.
There was previously a rumor that had Gomes connected to the Miami Heat in exchange for Michael Beasley. That deal stalled and is now dead with Gomes no longer an asset.
