After Rumors, Jefferson Requests A Trade

In the days leading up to the NBA Draft, Timberwolves’ forward Al Jefferson was connected in several trade rumors. While the team didn’t move him, team President David Kahn acknowledged later that he was now at least exploring the idea.

With the start of free agency, Eric Pincus of HoopsWorld writes that Jefferson has requested a trade.

Al Jefferson of the Minnesota Timberwolves has requested a trade from the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Wolves tried to move Al leading up to the NBA Draft. Two teams that have shown serious interest include the Denver Nuggets and Chicago Bulls.
