Reeling in Minnesota's biggest sports stories.
The NFL Network, as they do every year, will be broadcasting all 65 NFL pre-season games on their network, most via tape delay. They're also offering a package where folks will be able to watch pre-season games live on their computer (check right here for more details on that).
If you live in the greater Minneapolis area, you'll obviously be able to see all of the Vikings' pre-season games live as they happen on KARE-11. However, for those of us that are outside of that area, the NFL Network has us covered. Here is the schedule of when the games will be shown live, and when the NFL Network will first re-air them.
Pre-Season Game #1 at St. Louis Rams
Actual Date and Time of Game - Saturday, 14 August at 7:00 PM Central
Initial NFL Network Re-Broadcast - Sunday, 15 August at 9:00 PM Central
Pre-Season Game #2 at San Francisco 49ers
Actual Date and Time of Game - Sunday, 22 August at 7:00 PM Central
Initial NFL Network Re-Broadcast - Tuesday, 24 August at 12:00 Noon Central
Pre-Season Game #3 vs. Seattle Seahawks
Actual Date and Time of Game - Saturday, 28 August at 7:00 PM Central
Initial NFL Network Re-Broadcast - Saturday, 28 August at 10:00 PM Central (that's some darn quick turn-around)
Pre-Season Game #4 vs. Denver Broncos
Actual Date and Time of Game - Thursday, 2 September at 7:00 PM Central
Initial NFL Network Re-Broadcast - Friday, 3 September at 2:00 PM Central
So there you have it. . .the games will re-air at various other times on NFL Network, too, but those are the first opportunities you'll have to catch the Vikings' pre-season action.
