On Saturday, Dec. 1 the Second Round of the 2012 NCAA Division I FCS Football Playoffs will unfold. Eight games are on the schedule, and those 16 teams will battle for the right to advance to the Quarterfinal Round on Dec. 7 and 8.

South Dakota State destroyed Eastern Illinois in the opening round, 58-10, but now they have a date against the No. 1 seed, which happens to be an inter-state rival. North Dakota State earned top billing by posting an 10-1 record during the regular season, and the atmosphere should be electric when the two Dakota schools battle on Saturday at 3 p.m. CT.
