Stay connected for news and updates

The No. 14 South Dakota State Jackrabbits jumped out to an 8-0 lead on the heavily favored No. 3 Baylor, but the Bears came back to take an eight-point lead into the half, 36-28.

The Jackrabbits actually had a 19-7 lead to start the game, but Baylor went on a 17-3 run paced by Anthony Jones' nine points. The senior forward scored 11 points off the bench to supplement starting guard Pierre Jackson's game-high 12 points.

The Jackrabbits shot 38-percent after coming out of the gates hot. They'll need to continue to move the ball in the second half to get back into the game; six of their nine baskets were assisted.

SDSU is currently being led by Nate Wolters, who has nine points.
