No. 1 seeds UConn and Notre Dame roll into the Elite 8 after a series of blowouts, but they figure to get a stiffer test tonight against a pair of No. 2 seeds.
Two more teams will punch their tickets to the Women's Final Four on Tuesday night.
Both of Tuesday's matchups -- like both of Monday's matchups -- will feature No. 1 seeds versus No. 2 seeds. The first game will be between No. 1 Connecticut and No. 2 Kentucky, followed by No. 1 Notre Dame versus No. 2 Maryland.
Both UConn and Notre Dame have cruised in the Tournament. UConn, which has been to four straight Final Fours, has won its three tourney games by an average of more than 33 points. In the second round against No. 8 Kansas State, the Huskies rolled to a 72-26 win.
Notre Dame, too, has been dominant. The Irish are coming off a 44-point win over No. 5 St. Bonaventure in the Sweet 16.
Tuesday's TV schedule is:
Kingston Region Final:
No. 2 Kentucky vs. No. 1 UConn - 7:00 p.m. ET, ESPN/ESPN3
Raleigh Region Final:
No. 2 Maryland vs. No. 1 Notre Dame - 9:00 p.m. ET, ESPN/ESPN3
