The Minnesota Timberwolves will host the Los Angeles Clippers in their second match-up in less than a week on Monday night.

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Clippers are going head-to-head for the second time in just one week Monday. The Wolves picked up a big win over the Clippers last week in the first game of a three games in three nights roadtrip, but were unable to keep any momentum as they lost their next two games before rebounding against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday night.

Rookie Derrick Williams and forward Michael Beasley each scored 27 points in the win last week and, if the Wolves want to continue their recent dominance over the Clippers, that type of performance might be needed again.

The Clippers are coming off of an overtime decision on the road against the Houston Rockets on Sunday night, too, so it'll be interesting to see which team has more momentum on Monday night at the Target Center.
