If you had 7:07 PM Eastern time for the start of the first match at Wrestlemania 28, congratulations to you!
If you had 7:08 PM Eastern time for the time Wrestlemania's first match would conclude. . .well, you're a liar.
Yes, the first match of Wrestlemania 28 was over and done with in 18 seconds, as Sheamus flattened Daniel Bryan with the Brogue Kick right out of the gate and got the pin to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.
You read that correctly. . .eighteen seconds. That's King Kong Bundy/S.D. Jones territory.
I'm not sure what may or may not have happened to merit such a squash of Bryan at this point, but it seems a little strange to have one of your champions job in less than 30 seconds at the very beginning of the biggest event of the year when you have four hours of Pay-Per-View time to fill. But, I'm not a part of WWE Creative, so I guess it's not for me to know.
Kane and Randy Orton will be up next.
