April hasn't been kind to the Minnesota Timberwolves to say the least, but after losing their first ten games to start the month, the Wolves are looking for consecutive wins after breaking the losing streak and beating the Detroit Pistons on Thursday.
Minnesota will try for two in a row when they host the Golden State Warriors on Sunday evening at the Target Center. The Wolves only have two games remaining in the season which will not include the playoffs. Kevin Love may return to give Minnesota a boost after missing the last six games due to a concussion.
The Warriors are in no better shape as the end of the season comes into focus. Golden State is riding an eight-game losing as part of a 2-11 April with three games to go before ending the season. Like Minnesota, Golden State has struggled to deal with key injuries, playing without center Andrew Bogut and guard Stephen Curry as the losses mount.
The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 p.m. ET and will be televised on Fox Sports North.
