Preakness 2012: Post Time, Positions, TV Coverage And More

Bodemeister leads the field of eleven horses in Baltimore.

Kentucky Derby winner I'll Have Another tries for the second leg of horse racing's Triple Crown on Saturday eveining in the 2012 Preakness from Pimlico race track in Baltimore, Maryland.

The mile and three-sixteenths run for the Black-Eyed Susans will have an11-horse field running in the spotlight. Despite the small field, there is plenty of quality as the other Derby star Bodemeister will look to find the winner's circle this time around after an impressive performance in Louisville came up just short down the stretch in the mile and a quarter race.

Bodemeister is the morning favorite at 8 to 5 odds while I'll Have Another checks in at 5 to 2. Creative Cause and Went The Day Well are next in the line of favorites, both at 6 to 1.

The post positions as announced on Wednesday night along with the morning odds are as follows:

Television coverage of the 2012 Preakness begins at 4:30 p.m. ET on NBC with post time scheduled for 6:17 p.m. ET in Baltimore.
