Storm Vs. Lynx: Minnesota Stays Unbeaten With 84-71 Win

The Seattle Storm came to the Target Center winless on Sunday in WNBA play, and the homestanding Lynx were undefeated. Those states ares till true after Minnesota cruised to a relatively easy 84-71 win. Maya Moore led the way with 19 points for the Lynx while Seimone Augustus

The Lynx only trailed once at 5-4 in the very early going, but built a comfortable 17-9 lead after one. The Lynx then led 37-24 at the half and had increased their lead to 68-50 after three quarters before cruising for more of the fourth quarter. The Storm could not mount a comeback thanks to only 35% shooting from the field.

Minnesota shot better than 44% and was scorching hot from three-point range. The Lynx hit on 8 of 12 shots from long range to set the tone that they would be in control throughout.
