That's the way that a Champion rebounds from a loss. The Minnesota Lynx came off their first loss of the season against the Seattle Storm looking for blood and a 11-1 record, and they got both as they demolished the New York Liberty at Target Center by a scoreline of 102-70.
After a slow start by the Lynx's offense which saw the Liberty scraping out a 22-17 lead at the end of the first, just about everybody on the Minnesota roster turned on the heat. It's hard to pick a best player out of the bunch, almost everyone put up great numbers and spread the offense beautifully.
Some of the top contributors for the Lynx were Maya Moore with a 12 point, 10 rebound double-double and Devereaux Peters with 18 points off the bench. New York got a 30 point effort from Cappie Pondexter but didn't get much support from anyone else on the squad -- past her, only Nicole Powell scored more than 10 points for the Liberty.
