Lynx Vs. Shock Final Score: Maya Moore, Minnesota Cruise Past Tulsa, 89-74

Despite committing 19 turnovers and sending their opponents to the foul line 30 times, the Minnesota Lynx cruised to yet another victory over the Tulsa Shock on Thursday, 89-74

Forward Maya Moore pulled off something no Minnesota player has ever achieved by pouring a franchise-record 19 points in the second quarter alone as the Lynx took a comfortable 17-point lead into the halftime locker room. Moore finished the afternoon with 28 points and 11 rebounds, and was a near-perfect 11-for-12 from the free-throw line throughout her strong performance.

Keeping things relatively interesting for the Shock was entertaining forward Glory Johnson, who tallied game-highs in both points (30) and rebounds (14). Johnson's efforts were not enough in the end for the dead-last Shock to make a late rally, as the loss dropped Tulsa down to a meager 3-15 on the season.

Heading into the Olympic break with three players set to participate, Minnesota will gather its thoughts before resuming its regular season at home against Washington on August 17.
