Lynx Vs. Sun Final Score: Minnesota Falls At Home, 86-80

The Minnesota Lynx dropped their fourth game of the season on Saturday night at home, as the Connecticut Sun came away with a key 86-80 victory in a tight game.

Minnesota took a three-point deficit into the locker room at half after starting a tad slow, but came out flat in the third and allowed Connecticut to take command of the game with a big 29-16 run. Despite outscoring the Sun by 10 points over the final quarter, the Lynx couldn't pull within three points in the waning minutes and took the disheartening loss.

Forward Maya Moore once again led the way for the Lynx with a 19-point performance that included 3-for-7 shooting from three-point range, while center Taj McWilliams-Franklin also chipped in 15 points and eight rebounds. For the Sun, center Tina Charles was quite literally dominant en route to 19 points and 15 rebounds. Charles also was on the floor for a game-high 36 minutes, and routinely frustrated a usually-stout Minnesota interior defense all night long.

Next up on the schedule for the 13-4 Lynx is another tough game against the Tulsa Shock on Tuesday.
