The men's basketball schedule for the Minnesota Gophers will be released on Thursday.

The 2012-13 Minnesota Golden Gophers men's basketball schedule will be released on Thursday, according to a report from Amelia Rayno of the Star Tribune. The Big Ten slate is what will make-or-break the year for the Gophers (and everyone else in the conference), so it will be interesting to see how the matchups lay out over the course of the winter months. Televisions schedules and game times won't be a part of the initial release, but the matchups should be exciting enough to break down on their own merits.

As Rayno notes, we already know that the Gophers will play against the Duke Blue Devils on Nov. 22 to start out the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in the Bahamas, and that Minnesota will take on the Florida State Seminoles on Nov. 27 in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.
