Team USA Vs. Lithuania Final Score: Americans Escape, Win 99-94

Stay connected for news and updates

Team USA was on the verge of losing to Lithuania when Linas Kleiza gave his country a two-point lead with five minutes to go in the final period. But LeBron James put the Americans on his back in the waning minutes of the game and Team USA escaped with a narrow 99-94 victory in London on Saturday.

James and Carmelo Anthony each scored 20 points to lead USA in the win. Kleiza, however, led all scorers with 25 points. Kevin Durant and Deron Williams were also double-digit scorers with 16 and 12 points, respectively.

Kevin Love only scored seven points, but pulled down a game-high eight rebounds.

That was, in a lot of ways, an unnecessary scare for Team USA and they face Argentina next.
