The 49ers are the favorites to win the Super Bowl, but the Ravens will have one Minneapolis-born defender looking to shut down San Francisco's offense.
The San Francisco 49ers opened as 5-point favorites to take down the Baltimore Ravens in the 2013 Super Bowl. Many believe that the 49ers will not win or won't cover that spread, as the line has since come down to 3 1/2 in some places. Fans in Minnesota may have reason to root for the underdogs, as one of their own will be lining up at linebacker for the Ravens.

Terrell Suggs was born in Minneapolis, Minn., and he will be looking to do his part to make sure the San Francisco 49ers don't contribute to the overall total. The over/under was set at 49, but some may believe that the defenses will have the day as the total has dropped to 47 1/2, according to the Super Bowl odds page on Odds Shark.
Suggs will play a key role in trying to slow the 49ers offense. He has record 17 tackles and two sacks combined in Baltimore's last two playoff wins.
