Purdue Boilermakers 28, Minnesota Golden Gophers 17 - Too Little, Too Late

Stay connected for news and updates

The Gophers are starting to fill up the stat column, but it likely won’t be enough.

Adam Weber, who became the fifth quarterback in Big Ten history to throw for over 10,000 career yards in this game, has just completed a 31-yard touchdown pass to Da’Jon McKnight for a touchdown. A pass from Weber to MarQueis Gray for the two-point conversion made the score 28-17.

The Boilemakers, however, just recovered an onside kick that the Gophers had a really good shot at, and the Boilermakers will presumably run out the clock from here.

Under three minutes to go in West Lafayette, and the Gophers trail the Boilermakers 28-17 in a game that hasn’t been that close.
