The Gophers basketball team kicked off its season with Tubby's Tipoff (read: Midnight Madness) on Friday, the highlight of which was probably the dunk contest. Last year's winner and champion leaper Rodney Williams sat out due to a concussion, so the newly-eligible Trevor Mbakwe was able to steal the show with the following dunk (after the jump so it's not tiny):
No word on how much playing time the Gophers plan to give to the motorcycle this year.
