Ohio State Buckeyes 7, Minnesota Golden Gophers 0 - Buckeyes Carve Up Gopher Defense

Stay connected for news and updates

A huge kickoff return set the tone for Ohio State, and if the Gophers’ defense can’t do any better than this, it’s going to be a long night at TCF Bank Stadium.

Ohio State’s Jordan Hall took the opening kickoff and returned it to the Gophers’ 46-yard line. From there, a nice mix of run and pass moved the Buckeyes down the field with little resistance, and the drive culminated with Buckeyes quarterback Terrell Pryor taking the ball in on a keeper from one yard out.

With 9:25 remaining in the first quarter, Ohio State is off to a quick 7-0 lead.
