After a big kickoff return to start the second half, the Spartans have increased their lead over the Gophers thanks to a 24-yard field goal by Dan Conroy.
The Gophers then followed that up with Adam Weber getting intercepted by the Spartans near midfield.
With about seven minutes left in the third quarter, the Gophers now trail the Spartans by a score of 24-0.
