The Gophers have scored, which can only mean one thing. . .it’s garbage time, ladies and gentlemen!
After forcing a Kirk Cousins interception deep in Michigan State territory, the Gophers pushed into the end zone, needing a fourth and short conversion by Adam Weber to keep the drive alive. On first and goal at the 9, Weber threw a fade to MarQueis Gray, who barely got one foot down on the catch, for a Minnesota touchdown.
Weber then found DeLeon Eskridge for the two-point conversion, and the Gophers now trail 24-8 with just under ten minutes left in the ball game.
