Friday night is the first time this season that the Gophers' men's basketball team can practice for this season, and they will be kicking things off with "Gopher All-Star Friday Night" at Williams Arena. The doors will open at 6:30 PM, and the entire schedule of events is as follows:
6:30 p.m. - Doors Open
7:00 p.m. - Autograph Session in Williams Arena Concourse
7:55 p.m. - Lights Out - Dance Team Performance
8:00 p.m. - Introductions
8:15 p.m. - Warmups
8:20 p.m. - Skills Competition
8:30 p.m. - Half-Court Shot Contest
8:40 p.m. - 3-Point Shootout
9:00 p.m. - Dunk Contest
9:15 p.m. - Team Scrimmage
For the Half-Court Shot Contest, fans will be randomly chosen and given the name of a current Gophers player. The players will then take turns taking shots, and the player that makes the shot will win a Gopher basketball prize pack for their chosen fan. All of the fans involved in the contest will receive a basketball autographed by the Gopher players.
There is no charge for this event. . .just show up at Williams Arena and catch all the action!
