After forcing the Minnesota Golden Gophers into a three-and-out, it didn't take the Michigan State Spartans long to find the end zone again.
Starting from their own 42, Kirk Cousins and company moved down to the Minnesota 35-yard line, where they were looking at a 3rd-and-1. Rather than trying anything fancy, Cousins simply turned around and handed the ball to tailback Le'Veon Bell, who threw a nice stiff arm on safety Christyn Lewis and sprinted to the end zone for a 35-yard touchdown run and a 31-24 Michigan State lead.
The Gophers just got a short kick return from Devin Crawford-Tufts, and will be starting out around their own 15-yard line.
With 10:53 remaining in the game from East Lansing, the Minnesota Golden Gophers trail the Michigan State Spartans by a score of 31-24. The Gophers have some work ahead of them if they want to pull off what would be a huge upset.
