The Minnesota Golden Gophers have announced that Texas defensive end Michael Amaefula has signed a letter of intent to come to Minneapolis to play for the Gophers.
Amaefula currently attends Bowie High School in Arlington, Texas. He is a 6'2", 218-pound defensive end, and was given a three-star rating by both Rivals.com and Scout.com. He was ranked as the 107th-best defensive end in America by Rivals. He was also named to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's All-Metroplex team as a first-team defensive end this season.
