Jerry Kill's Gophers dropped their third straight Big Ten game on Saturday, and remain in last place in the Legends Division at 0-3.
Still in search of their first conference win of 2012, the Minnesota Golden Gophers fell further down the Big Ten standings on Saturday after a 38-13 loss to Wisconsin.
Minnesota remains one of four conference teams without a win in league play thus far, even though head coach Jerry Kill's team sits alone in last place as the Legends Division's only winless school. Unable to muster anything higher than 13 points in any of their Big Ten games, the Gophers will set their sights on Purdue this Saturday looking to buck the trend.
Along with moving into sole possession of first place in the Legends over the the weekend, the Michigan Wolverines firmly positioned themselves as the team to beat in the six-team division going forward. The Wolverines will come to Minnesota to face the Gophers on Nov. 3 in a pivotal game for both teams that should have a significant impact on the league standings.
