The Minnesota Golden Gophers face Wisconsin during the week, the latest in a gang of ranked competition they they've played leading to a five game losing streak.
At this point, the Minnesota Golden Gophers probably just want the season to end so that they can put it behind them and focus on the Tournaments that are upcoming... assuming they even make the NCAA tournament. The bad form just won't stop for the Gophers, who have now lost five in a row after bad defeats to Michigan State and Indiana.
The Gophers have only two games to go in the Big Ten, and mercifully only one more against ranked competition. The Gophers take on No. 15 Wisconsin on Tuesday at 8:30 PM Eastern Time, the last in that absolute flood of ranked teams that they played in recent weeks -- four of their last five games were against teams in the top 25. Wisconsin, meanwhile, are coming off a huge win over the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Minnesota can at least look forward to a winnable game to close the season out, they face the weak Nebraska Cornhuskers in their last game on March 3.
