Big Ten Basketball Tournament 2012: Bracket And Schedule For Thursday

Stay connected for news and updates

The 2012 Big Ten Tournament will tip-off early Thursday morning, but the Minnesota Golden Gophers don't take the court until the third game of the day. The Iowa Hawkeyes will get everything going when they play the Illinois Fighting Illini in a game scheduled for 10:30 a.m.

Following the conclusion of the Iowa vs. Illiois game, there will be a 25 minute break until the Indiana Hoosiers take on the Penn State Nittany Lions. 25 minutes after that game is when the Gophers will take the court.

The Gophers are playing the Northwestern Wildcats in a match-up pitting the tournament's seven seed up against the No. 10 seed Minnesota received for its 6-12 effort during the Big Ten conference season. The day will conclude with the Purdue Boilermakers taking on the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

If words aren't our reader's favorite, we've embedded a bracket below. It's also handy for figuring out what's going to happen for the winners in the next round.
