Frozen Four 2012: Minnesota Game Vs. Boston U To Be Televised After All

Stay connected for news and updates

There was some concern from Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey fans that they wouldn't be able to see the Gophers play in the Frozen Four against Boston University unless they happened to be at the Xcel Energy Center this weekend. Originally, FSN North was unable to televise the game because the Minnesota Wild game against the Buffalo Sabres had precedent.

Those concerns were laid to rest by Fox Sports North earlier this week, though, when it was announced that FSN North Plus -- an alternate channel to the regular FSN -- would be televising the Minnesota game along with the Minnesota-Duluth and the North Dakota games so that there would be some television coverage of all of the teams in the area.

Before FSN stepped up to the plate, the only places that the game could have been watched were on ESPN3 and on a tape delay on ESPNU.
