Stay connected for news and updates

It will not be consecutive Frozen Fours for the Minnesota-Duluth men's hockey program. The Bulldogs ran into a difficult Boston College team on Sunday evening and the Eagles dominated throughout, eliminating the Bulldogs 4-0 in the East Regional at Worcester, Massachusetts.

The Bulldogs were tied 0-0 after one period, but gave up two goals in the second and two insurance goals in the third. Parker Milner saved 33 shots for the Eagles, becoming a wall for Boston College. that was more than enough, as Pat Mullane broke the scoreless tie just over four minutes into the second period. Bill Arnold made it 2-0 just about a minute and a half later.

Patrick Wey and Johnny Gaudreau added goals in the third period to clinch it for Boston College.
