The Minnesota Timberwolves have quite a few needs heading into next week's NBA Draft, and while nobody said the Kurt Rambis coached team ended up with worst record in the league last season because they didn't have enough players that could shoot the ball, having players that can knock down the three-point shot is never a bad thing.

Taking that knowledge into consideration, this could make Derrick Williams -- the player many project the Wolves to select according to the reputable NBA mock drafts -- an even more alluring prospect when David Kahn submits the team's selection for the No. 2 pick.

Williams made 57 percent of his 74 three-point attempts as a senior with the Arizona Wildcats, but the NCAA's line is a bit closer than the NBA's, leading to some skeptics that his three-point shooting isn't sustainable at the next level when combining the longer distance and small sample-size of success in college.

ESPN's Sports Science program decided to test that theory on a recent episode, however, and Williams performed rather admirably:
