Dallas struggled greatly in the fourth quarter, getting outscored 25-13 as Minnesota broke open a close game. Ricky Rubio had 14 points and sevens assists, while Anthony Tolliver had 13. Luke Ridnour was the fourth Timberwolves player in double figures with 11.
Minnesota also had a big second quarter, outscoring the Mavericks 25-26 in that period to lead 50-41 at the half after being tied 25-25 after one quarter. Dallas cut the lead to 74-69 after three quarters, but 37% shooting from the field was their undoing.
