Timberwolves Vs. Pistons: Minnesota Cap A Two Game Homestand Against Weakened Pistons

Stay connected for news and updates

The Timberwolves can go two for two on this short homestand with a win over the Pistons tonight.

It's a short homestand for the Minnesota Timberwolves, but after manhandling the Kings as many teams are want to do these days they have a chance to take some decent momentum with them going into two very tough road games against the Clippers and the Jazz.

The Pistons are currently a struggling team similar to the Kings, and despite the Timberwolves' mediocre 5-8 record they've actually put together some pretty nice performances this season with the Ricky Rubio/Kevin Love duo doing all kinds of damage to opposing teams alongside a strong presence in Derrick Williams off the bench. Detroit's weaknesses are rampant and include often leaky defense and a lack of rebounding, both terrible omens against this Wolves team.

The Pistons have only won a single game on the road this season and are sunk at the lowest levels of the league right now with a 3-11 record.
