Timberwolves Vs. Rockets Final Score: Houston Wins In Kevin McHale's Return To Minnesota, 107-92

Stay connected for news and updates

In his first trip back to Minnesota since being fired in 2009 after 15 years with the Timberwolves' franchise, Kevin McHale will leave feeling pretty good about himself as his Rockets won by 15, 107-92, improving to 10-7 and into the playoff picture ahead of the Los Angels Lakers (!).

The Rockets win spoiled a big game from McHale's lasting fingerprints in Minnesota, Kevin Love. Love scored 39 points on 13-for-19 shooting and grabbed 12 rebounds. Ricky Rubio assisted on 12 of the T-Wolves' baskets.

The Rockets were led by their Kevin, Kevin Martin, who scored 31 points. Kyle Lowry picked up a triple-double with 16 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds. Sameul Dalembert had 15 rebounds.

The Timberwolves shot only 41-percent and turned the ball over 20 times.

Minnesota is back at it on Wednesday at Dallas.
