The Minnesota Timberwolves are one of the newer franchises in the NBA as they began as an expansion team in 1990, but the state has hosted a few professional basketball teams prior to the Wolves. The Minneapolis Lakers are the team most everyone's familiar with, but the Muskies had a fun run back in the day as well.
The Muskies, named after the Northern Pike-esque Muskellunge, played just one season in the Twin Cities before relocating the ABA team to Miami as they became the Floridians. That 1967-68 season will live on this season, however, as the Timberwolves are set to wear throwback uniforms featuring the Muskies for four games this season.

Uni Watch's Paul Lukas isn't a big fan as he gave it a B- before writing "Never liked this logo. No pizzazz, no juice. ... Such a simple design. Not a lot to say, except that the color combo is nice enough. Go, fish!"
Lukas apparently didn't look up close at the logo, though, as it's got plenty of juice:
The Wolves will wear these uniforms on Feb. 1 against the Indiana Pacers, Feb. 10 against the Dallas Mavericks, Feb. 11 against the New York Knicks and March 5 against the Los Angeles Clippers.
