Ricky Rubio Submits His Entry For Flop Of The Year

Stay connected for news and updates

The Minnesota Timberwolves didn't have a great game on Monday night as they lost to the Denver Nuggets in overtime following an unthinkable mistake from Martell Webster as the final seconds ticked off the clock. Ricky Rubio tried to keep things entertaining in the fourth quarter, however, submitting his entry for "Flop Of The Year."

Flopping is a delicate art in the NBA and a skill he likely honed while playing in Europe prior to making the jump to Minnesota. He might still need a bit of work on it, however, as his attempt at drawing a charge from Nuggets rookie Julyan Stone was a bit ... questionable.

An animated look at it, courtesy of CJ Fogler, is available after the jump.

The flop itself was fine (click to make it animated), but the timing definitely needs some work.
