Timberwolves Vs. Clippers: Kevin Love And Blake Griffin Look To Start Second Half Hot

Stay connected for news and updates

The Minnesota Timberwolves are off to a pretty solid start this season, compiling a better-than-expected 17-17 record heading into the NBA All-Star break. They'll need to get off to a solid start in the second half, however, if they're going to have a chance at making the playoffs.

The Wolves have a rather brutal four-game stretch this week with road games on tap against the Los Angeles Clippers, Lakers, Phoenix Suns and Portland Trail Blazers over the next five days. If Kevin Love and the rest of Minnesota's offense is able to pick up momentum with a win against the Clippers on Tuesday night, however, the road trip won't seem quite as daunting.

The big story might be the young power forward battle between Love and Clippers All-Star Blake Griffin, but astute basketball fans will probably remember the first Clippers game of the season for a different reason: The shot that made Love a viable three-point shooting machine.

Sure would be nice if a repeat happened, huh?
