The win snapped a three-game skipped for the Timberwolves, who are now 23-24 on the season.
Minnesota led by 14 at the break but was then outscored by 10, 32-22, in the third. Kevin Love, who had his 39th double-double on the season, helped stabilize things, going for 12 fourth-quarter points. He finished with 36 points and 17 rebounds, and hit 3 of 5 from downtown.
The Timberwolves are in the midst of a brutal stretch of the schedule. Monday's was their fifth-straight road game, and there are two more on tap -- against San Antonio and Oklahoma City, no less. After that Minnesota returns home for a game with Denver before playing four of the next five on the road.
