The Minnesota Timberwolves ended their road skid on Wednesday night, taking care of the NBA's worst team, the Charlotte Bobcats, 88-83. The T-Wolves had lost six of their last seven on the road, which has taken them out of serious playoff contention.
Kevin Love, as he's done all season, put the team on his back in the second half with the Timberwolves trailing; he scored 26 of his game-high 40 in the second half and grabbed 19 rebounds overall. Luke Ridnour assisted 14 Timberwolves' baskets and added 15 points for his own double-double. Anthony Tolliver also had a double-double off the bench with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Charlotte was led by Corey Maggette's 22 points.
Minnesota returns home for a game against Boston on Friday before hitting the road again. They've played nine of their last 11 games away from home.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are struggling big time on the road, so a game against the Charlotte Bobcats is the best opponent one could ask for to end a slump. Unfortunately, the Bobcats are giving the road weary T-Wolves a tough time on Wednesday night and lead Minnesota 47-45.
The Timberwolves jumped out on top of the Bobcats in the first quarter, but a tough second quarter leaves them behind at the half. As usual, Kevin Love is doing everything he can for his team, scoring 14 points on 6-for-12 shooting and grabbing seven boards in 19 minutes of action.
Charlotte is getting even distribution from its starters, but Gerald Henderson leads them with 11 points.
