Timberwolves Vs. Warriors Final Score: Minnesota's Losing Streak Hits 4 With 97-94 Defeat

The Minnesota Timberwolves' season has fallen by the wayside, as they've now lost four in a row after the depleted Golden State Warriors defeated them on Wednesday night by three, 97-94.

Minnesota had a 12-point lead at the half, but gave up 38 in the third quarter and went into the fourth trailing by six. Minnesota tied the game at 94-94 with 1:24 left in the game, but a Charles Jenkins layup and free throw made up the final difference in favor of the Warriors when Kevin Love's final three rimmed out as the buzzer sounded.

Love was 12-for-28 from the floor and finished with 28 points, 12 rebounds and five assists. Wayne Ellington added 17 points off the bench.

The Warriors were led by David Lee's 31 points and eight rebounds.

Minnesota will look to avoid their longest losing streak of the season on Saturday in New Orleans.
