Twins first baseman Justin Morneau went 1-2 with a three run double and a run scored in his first live baseball action since last July.
“It feels good,” Morneau said. “It felt good for a while. You can only take batting practice for so long before you find out how it’s going to react in a game.”
It’s one more step on the road back for the Twins slugger, who are taking a cautious approach in his return to action.
