Minnesota Twins pitcher Liam Hendriks was released from a Baltimore hospital Monday after a bout with food poisoning, according to MLB.com.

Hendriks, who missed a scheduled start Sunday, is now back in Minneapolis.

According to MLB.com, the Twins don't know when Hendriks, a right-hander, will be able to rejoin the rotation. Anthony Swarzak replaced Hendriks on Sunday, allowing just one run through five innings. Swarzak is tentatively schedule to start again on Thurday against the Angels.

MLB.com quoted Hendriks saying,

"I'm going to come to the field [Tuesday] and do some running and see how I recover. I didn't lose any weight, which is a plus. It should take a few days, so we'll see how it goes."

Hendriks said he was not sure what made him sick.

The Twins have started the season 0-4, dropping their home opener 1-5 on Monday.
