Twins Unveil Kent Hrbek Statue At Target Field

Stay connected for news and updates

Minnesota Twins legendary first baseman Kent Hrbek was honored to witness the unveiling of a statue of his likeness outside of Target Field prior to the Twins game against the Texas Rangers on Saturday.

The Twins tweeted the moment to capture Hrbek's first look at the statue.

As Twinkie Town mentions in their game preview, Hrbek appeared like a statue when he was playing the game but the big fella could smash the ball in the old Metrodome like a beast while collecting World Series rings with the 1987 and 1991 championship Twins.
