Twins look to even up record with first win of the season.

The Minnesota Twins came up short in their opening game of the season, losing 4-2 to the Baltimore Orioles. The Twins will try to carry over the momentum from their ninth inning inning rally that deliver two runs but just wasn't enough to complete the comeback.

Left-hander Francisco Liriano would certainly appreciate some run support from his Twins teammates as he looks to begin the season strong in his first start. A good start from Liriano would be a welcomed development for Minnesota after a subpar 9-10 record in 2011.

Baltimore rode a big game from Nick Markakis in the opener as the right fielder knocked in three runs while hitting a home run and triple. The Orioles will counter Liriano on the mound with right-hander Tommy Hunter.

The game is set to start at 7:05 p.m. ET and will be televised on Fox Sports North.
