Minnesota Twins Roster Moves: Ben Revere Recalled; Ryan Doumit To Disabled List

Stay connected for news and updates

The Minnesota Twins have undergone more than their share of roster moves or the last couple of weeks and, following Wednesday night's win, another one took place. This isn't likely to have as large of an impact as the others have, but it should make the Ben Revere fans among us happy campers.

The Twins have placed Ryan Doumit on the 15-day disabled list and, in the resulting roster move, Revere has been recalled from Rochester. Joe Christensen first reported the news in his blog over at the Star Tribune.

The Twins placed catcher Ryan Doumit on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right calf after Wednesday's 11-7 victory over Detroit and recalled outfielder Ben Revere from Class AAA Rochester.

Revere is expected to be at Comerica Park in time for Thursday's series finale against the Tigers.

This should not hurt.
