After a strong performance on Saturday in Triple-A, Twins prospect Liam Hendriks could start next weekend when Minnesota hosts Milwaukee at Target Field.
Sent down to Triple-A after posting an inordinately-high 9.00 ERA over four starts to open the year, Minnesota Twins pitcher Liam Hendriks has shown improved command and looks to be benefiting from his time with the Rochester Red Wings. According to the Star Tribune's Jim Souhan, Hendriks might even be unofficially penciled in by his manager for a weekend start against Milwaukee.

The 23-year-old Australian born right-hander is coming off an 8.2 inning gem where he fanned 10 batters and yielded just three hits, so this move would make perfect sense. Aside from being winless in eight career starts, Hendriks remains one of the better pitching prospects in the Twins' organization and is fully expected to break into the starting rotation on a full-time basis in the near future.
