Twins Vs. Athletics Lineups: Denard Span Still Out With A Shoulder Injury

The Minnesota Twins begin a three-game series on the road vs. the Oakland Athletics on Monday night, and they'll continue to be without outfielder Denard Span, who is nursing an injured shoulder. Span had an MRI on his collarbone on Monday, and will undergo an additional scan on Tuesday, according to MLB.com's Rhett Bollinger.

The Twins will send Brian Duensing (2-8, 4.69 ERA) to the hill to attempt to silence the Athletics' bats, which produced seven runs per game during a weekend sweep of the Cleveland Indians. Meanwhile, the A's will counter with Brandon McCarthy (6-4, 2.68), who has a 1.57 ERA at the O.co Coliseum in 2012. Here are the full lineups:
