Twins Vs. Indians Final Score: Samuel Deduno Deals In 7-2 Win

Samuel Deduno allowed two runs over seven innings in the start as the Twins downed the Indians 7-2 in Minnesota on Monday night.

Deduno gave up three hits and three walks and struck out six to move to 6-3 on the season. A sac fly from Justin Morneau scored the first run of the game in the fourth inning. The Indians tied the game in the sixth, but the Twins scored two in the bottom frame. Minnesota broke the game open in the seventh with three runs, capped by an RBI single from Joe Mauer.

Mauer went 2-for-4, while Pedro Florimon went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored and Morneau went 1-for-3 with two RBIs. The win moved the Twins up into a tie with the Indians for fourth place in the AL Central.
