Noted Minnesota Viking hater Pete Prisco has completed his Week 11 Power Rankings for CBS Sports, and has the Vikings taking a significant tumble this week. The Vikings were sitting at number 21 going into Week 10, and now with Week 11 on the horizon, Minnesota now sits all the way down at number 27.
What did Prisco have to say about the Vikings?
Is it time to sit Brett Favre down? They are basically out of it now. So why not sit him? Is an injury excuse coming?
We don’t know if the Vikings are going to sit Brett Favre or not, but we do know one thing for sure. Regardless of what the Minnesota Vikings do in Week 11, Pete Prisco will have something stupid to say about it in Week 12.

In comparison to the folks at SBNation.com, ESPN actually thought a little more highly of the Vikings going into this week, having them at number 22 going into their match-up with the Chicago Bears. However, a loss has caused ESPN to move them the same direction, pushing them two spaces lower in this week’s Power Rankings than they had been previously.
And, again, the folks at ESPN state the obvious when it comes to what’s happening with the Minnesota Vikings in 2010.
Vikings are a perfect example of dysfunction undermining talent.
This certainly might be true. . .might be. After watching this team this season so far, I’m not sure of the “talent” is what everyone thinks it is. But that’s another discussion for another time.

Well, it's that time of the week again, ladies and gentlemen, where the various sites around the internet release their NFL Power Rankings. . .and, as you'd expect, with another Vikings loss comes a drop-off in the Power Rankings for the Beloved Purple.
We'll start, as always, with the folks at the mothership known as SBNation. The good folks at the home office had the Vikings at number 24 in the rankings last week, but their loss to the Bears this past Sunday has them dropping two notches to 26. They've also stated the obvious as far as the course the Vikings' season has taken.
Well, that's about it for the Vikings. They'd have to run the table to have a shot at the playoffs and it doesn't look like that's happening.
No. . .not, that certainly doesn't look like it's happening. Anyone that's watched more than five minutes of this season probably agrees with that.
